Val's Moose

Betty T. wanted to get a moose sweatshirt for Val after she regretted not buying one while in the Adirondacks last summer. So for Val's b-day, Betty comissioned me to make one for her. This is from a free image I found on-line, made a fabric applique and hand sewed the moose to the sweatshirt. Val is modeling it for me.

crocheted tree in winter

I found out on Wed. that Grace Chapel was accepting 2-D works for their next gallery showing. Their theme is "Black and White" and I did this in two days or about 4 hours. The tree is crocheted with some of the branches embroidered on. The lines on the bottom are tailor's thread (that Bart Kelso gave me).

Crocheted Ninja

I designed and crocheted this ninja guy for Nicholas' birthday last week. I had to scan it instead of photographing it because the camera was left at a friends house.

Crocheted Bowl or basket in pink

I found pink mason's twine in the basement and could not resist crocheting it into something. If I do not sell this on etsy or ebay I'm keeping it for myself.

Spring String Bag

100% cotton yarn was crocheted (and designed) by me to make this bag. Jill Bent's mom gave me the spools of yarn when she stopped weaving with them.

The "lava" is getting mighty close to those trees.

My model is almost 4 years old.

This bag is great for the beach or anywhere. I made this bag to sell at the Lydia Fair at the Cambridge Vineyard church - the first stop for Cambridge Open Studios 4-25,26-09.

Rocket Backpack

I designed and crocheted this backpack for a 4-year-old named Benjamin. (I hope he doesn't see it before his birthday). The flames can be tucked inside and there is an attached alien (out of sight).

Hats for Odoi

Odoi thought I was only making one hat for him but I fell in love with the colors and the process. He now has 3 of these hats for his own. Thank you Odoi for modeling them too!
